The endless possibilities of decorative concrete will allow you to add beauty and charm and create an inviting look to your home which you will enjoy for many years to come.
Stencil concrete is a system of adding colour, pattern and texture to a plain concrete slab. It can be done during the concrete pouring process, or can be added a week or two after the new concrete has been poured. Once finished your new stencil concrete can have the attractive look of brick, stone or tile, with a contrasting grout line.
Edges of plain, matching or contrasting pattern and colour can be added, and decorative features such as special designs, company logos, monograms or perhaps a feature circle can be incorporated into your concrete surface allowing for a customised look. Laying the stencil on a 45 degree angle is another way to achieve a more personalised look.
Stencil concrete is a great way to add both beauty and value to your home. It is a durable product, and incredibly versatile, available in an extensive range of colours and patterns. Whether you are after a traditional or contemporary look for your home, create a stylish design using eye catching features with contrasting colours, borders or include rosettes and compasses to add individual style.
Coloured concrete is a system of adding colour to a plain concrete slab. It can be done during the concrete pouring process, either by colouring the concrete itself, also called ‘Colour Thru’ (by adding a high quality pigment blend, which is mixed into the concrete prior to pouring), or by colouring the surface of the concrete with the desired colour. Coloured concrete is also often achieved by adding the colour a week or two after the new plain concrete has been poured.
Individualise the look of coloured concrete by adding border edges, decorative features or compasses in the same colour or using contrasting colours is a popular choice. Enhance the look of your home by adding a complementary colour to your concrete, whether it be a subtle or a bold choice, you can create a lasting, durable finish to your concrete and produce a distinctive look.
(Also known as ‘ Cova-crete’, ‘Spray Pave’, ‘Cover-Tex’)
Resurfacing is designed to create a decorative finish on existing concrete surfaces. The spray on coatings bond rigidly to existing suitable concrete surfaces and help to create a slip resistant, textured, decorative surface with excellent durability and abrasion resistance. Please note however, that concrete resurfacing is designed to beautify the existing concrete, and though it may help to disguise hairline cracking and minor imperfections, it does not repair concrete.
Whether you are after a contemporary or more traditional design, ‘Cova-crete’, is for you. With a wide selection of patterns and colours to choose from, ranging from brick, stone, tile or perhaps design your own patterns, logos, monograms or even incorporate custom graphics to create a distinctive look for your home or business.
An Exposed Aggregate surface is obtained by placing concrete, then removing the outer ‘skin’ of cement paste to uncover decorative course stone (aggregate) within. The concrete is batched with the decorative stone, in your choice of colour, mixed in. We are able to customise the mix to your own specifications, and colour schemes. For example you may wish to have 50% white stone with 50% black. This mix is called salt and pepper. Stone colours are dependent on what suppliers have available at the time, so please contact us for more details if needed.
Exposed Aggregate is ideal for driveways, pathways, outdoor living areas, pool decks, and many other applications. It is strong and durable, highly weather resistant, and an effective anti-skid surface.
A highly versatile finish, Exposed Aggregate contrasts beautifully with plain concrete or other decorative treatments such as stencilling, and coloured concrete. With many types and sizes of decorative aggregate available, it is possible to achieve unlimited colour and texture variations. Or perhaps incorporate some exposed aggregate with another decorative surface as a feature to make your living space completely unique.
